Is the Bible Really Trustworthy

Introduction
The Bible is arguably the primary way to draw near to God, to discover his nature,
and cultivate a sense of His presence in your everyday life. As Paul said in Chapter
6 of Ephesians, “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against
the devil’s schemes.” Clearly, it’s important to understand as much as you can about
the spiritual realm.
The Bible is such a crucial link between man and God that it’s easy to see why God
has preserved it with such unmatched integrity all these years. And the closer you
look, the more evident it becomes that the word of God is as relevant today as the
heart of God.
It’s no coincidence that the Bible contains everything you need to walk step by
step into the life of significance God has prepared for you. To call it the greatest
book ever written is an understatement. In fact, if you think of it as a book, you
risk overlooking its true importance.
So, if we agree that the Bible really is a timeless manual for life, then perhaps
the next question should be: Don’t most manuals explain in intricate detail how
to get from Point A to Point B to Point C and so on? Well, precisely. And no other
book ever written does that better than the Bible!
Whether you have a New King James translation, a New International Version or a
Contemporary English translation, it matters little, because while words and phrases
may be expressed a little differently, the purpose of our Bible remains consistent:
for God to reveal Himself to people.
