Laying Tracks of Prayer by Tim Philpot

Introduction

In Chapter 6 of Life Foundations, “Communicating with God,” unlocks the mystery of prayer.

Praying may consist of praise, thanksgiving, confession, and asking for help for yourself and others. Or just being still in His presence. God answers all prayer, with either a yes, a no, or an encouragement to wait.

We’ll also examine several conditions for prayer, including: belief, a pure heart, and unselfish motives.

Prayer for the lost is a core calling for CBMC. The “Ten Most Wanted” prayer list helps us focus on specific people we desire to see come to Christ.

Personal devotions or “quiet time” are a vital and special time alone with God to hear from Him, share your heart, and get direction from Him.
