Introduction
As we enter Chapter 3 of Life Perspectives, you will be taking your Timothy to a
deeper level of commitment. God calls His followers to give an accurate reflection
of who He is within us, and that requires a total change in who we are.
God desires for us to realize that He is with us 24/7, and He wants us to be men
of integrity, honesty, and moral excellence. Your Timothy must know that his character
will be forged through his life experiences which will include trials, trials which
require patience and perseverance.
In order to become men of character, we must surrender to God’s plan. We will need
to be broken vessels, humbly seeking God in our relationships, work, and finances.
God desires to transform us into His image that we might be made new in our thinking.
Since our character is now being transformed, we can begin to see what real relationships
should look like in God’s design. After all, God is all about relationships.
