Key Points
- We have been chosen, called and commissioned to represent Christ right where He
has placed us. We are an inside source for His purpose.
- We are to build relationships to reflect to the Lost, The Love of Christ. We are
His ambassadors; therefore our purpose is to tell others about Him. “Sometime even
using words.”
- We must guard our time and our focus in order to be available for the work God has
called us to, where He has placed us in our family community and workplace.
- Balance in our life is very important. Its’ not about doing volumes of good things,
its’ about being available for God’s best thing in our life. Know your calling by
being rested, reliable and ready to share Christ.

Introduction
Have you ever stopped to think about why you live where you do? How did you end
up in your current job, and what should you do now that your life has brought you
here? Well, that’s what Chapter 6 in Life Perspectives is all about.
Doing real life takes a plan, a purpose, a focus. It’s important to set aside time
to allow God to work in us and through us to make it all happen. By the end of this
chapter, your Timothy should be able to recognize how God has placed him right where
God can use him. Hopefully, you will assist him in understanding:
- He has been called, chosen, and commissioned to represent Christ right where he
has been placed
- Teaming up with other like-minded believers provides accountability, encouragement,
prayer, support, and leverage to reach others.
- The enemy’s goal is to keep us so busy that we don’t have time to be involved in
God’s work. We must manage our time to be available for the Lord.
- The enemy’s goal is to keep us isolated so we don’t have support, encouragement,
or help.
- Sometimes we must eliminate good things in order to be available for God’s best
thing.
